Emily Cohen has been working as a freelance photographer since 2007. She graduated from the Corcoran College of Art and Design in 2014 with a BFA in Photojournalism. Emily is particularly interested in documenting instances of human capacity and resilience whether it being in still or video journalistic mediums. She currently works as a freelance multimedia journalist in news and commercial photography, working for the WHYY among other as a multimedia contractor. In her free time Emily works on long term documentary projects around the world, hangs out with her husband and cats, and dabbles in sports.
